Caper Vinaigrette

Capers are a great salty, slightly tangy addition to classic dishes such as chicken piccata or your favorite braised fish. Try this caper vinaigrette to add of a tiny burst of flavor to your favorite salad.


Caper Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Olive Oil

  • 2/3 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar 

  • 2 Teaspoons Salt

  • 2 Teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper

  • 3 Fresh Garlic Cloves- Grated

  • 1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard

  • 3 Tablespoons Capers, Drained

Let’s Create.

  1. Optional: Add capers to a mortar and roughly grind with pestle. The addition of whole capers is fine also.  

  2. Whisk Dijon mustard with apple cider vinegar. Add salt, pepper, and freshly grated garlic.

  3. While whisking, slowly add olive oil to the mixture. Keep refrigerated. Enjoy!
